Success is defined differently by everyone. However we believe that success is an everyday thing.

From your analysis session, you will have clearly defined goals that are specific and are time dependant. You will also have the test results to give all of us an indication for the best direction going forwards to reach those goals. We then implement your training and education to give you immediate and long term impact on your sporting career.

Acceleration programs give athletes results.  You will not only get stronger or faster, you will learn about your body and how to maintain it for the length of your sporting career and to keep fit throughout life.

Just imagine what we can do for you:

Athlete: Linda Pulsan

Sport: Powerlifting

Team: Team PNG Powerlifting

Recent Accomplishment: Breaking a total of 20 records for the Oceania region at the recent Pacific Invitational Powerlifting Competition in Melbourne.

Centre: PNG Olympic Committee’s High Performance Centre

Tom’s comment: Linda is one of the most humble, hard working long term successful athletes in PNG. For years she has been the face of Powerlifting in the country, and at the ripe young age of 44 she is only getting stronger. Currently Linda is on track to break A WORLD RECORD for the squat! This may be the first time that a Papua New Guinean has held such a record…

A massive feat! Up until the last 2 months, Linda’s natural ability to lead and motivate had meant that she was the National coach, manager as well as athlete of PNG Powerlifting Squad. The squad have now been able to secure a coach, manager and executive committee, allowing Linda to focus on her task of smashing records at the Games. 64 DAYS TO GO! Best of luck to Linda, the whole country is behind her in her efforts!

Sean always ensures that correct technique is used to further enhance my technique and speed by making me push the boundaries further! The Gold Coast team are really fun to work with, yet professional in the delivery of my individualised program. I thoroughly enjoy training each week.”

Athlete: Jordan Seeto

Centre: Acceleration Brisbane East

How have Acceleration’s training methods helped me? Being able to train and play at an elite level, everyone is a good player but Acceleration has been able to help me gain that extra edge over my opposition. From my acceleration, foot speed to my agility and especially my power and strength has really improved over the past few months.

Stew’s comment: Jordan started as a practicum student at Acceleration and now has progressed into a fine young coach and athlete. When he arrived he was already athletic but he needed to get stronger. I think the fact that he has been working out with his peers has helped him gain focus and motivation to train the right way on a consistent basis. The results of his training are finally coming through with his ongoing development as a touch football player. I want to wish him and his PNG team all the best in their upcoming competitions.

Recent Accomplishment: Competed at the World Age Group Triathlon Championships in Edmonton, Canada AB (August 25th to September 1st).

Centre: Acceleration Brisbane Central

How have Acceleration’s training methods helped me? For Swimming: Strength. My coach has mentioned how much stronger I look swimming, I’m now able to hold myself out of the water and pull through faster. For Cycling: I feel stronger on the bike due to strength training and more power output per stroke, and less strain through my upper body equals no more sore backs! For Running: I’ve never had the best running form, but using the concept of forward lean and using the arms during running my body awareness has improved to hold my best/fastest body position for 10km. In terms of Injury prevention and management, I’ve kept relatively injury free, and anything (serious) that pops up I’m straight off to the physio to fix it!

Stewart’s comment: “This is probably the first time we have ever had an Acceleration Coach as Athlete of the Month. However I think it is only the second time that we have had a coach represent their Australia while working for us. The first was Andrew Lulham when he competed for Australia in Powerlifting probably 11 years ago. Kelly has worked extremely hard to balance her work and training to achieve these fantastic results. I want to make a special mention that Acceleration is proud of the fact that a lot of our coaches are still competing athletes. Therefore our coaches are not just fitness fanatics who do not walk the walk. Our coaches use Acceleration training methods and at least attempt to continue to enjoy their sport so they stay well connected with our athletes through their own personal experiences. Kelly is also a great example of what our training methods can do for endurance athletes.”

Ashleigh’s Comment: I thoroughly enjoy my training at Acceleration and look forward to every session.  I’ve had a few injuries this season, not least a  hip injury that meant I was sidelined for a few weeks, but with the guidance and training of Brett and Acceleration, I was able to correctly manage the injury and get my fitness back on track.  As a result, I was able to compete in Malaysia, even scoring two international goals.  It’s turned out to be an amazing season with the win in Malaysia, finishing second in the Futsal F League and not to mention winning the SEQ Women’s Premiership and the Elaine Watson Cup with the Gap FC.  Hopefully we will get the treble and win the grand final as well.  I’m very grateful for the help and expert care I receive from Brett and the wonderful team at Acceleration.

Brett’s comment: “It doesn’t come as a surprise that Ash has received the Athlete of the Month award again. Recently his dedication to training has been rewarded with excellent results at the National Age Championships and selection in the Junior PanPacs team. Hopefully this means he can forgive me for his jam packed programs and come along with the same attitude to best prepare him for the upcoming Grand Prix meets and the big event in August. Most importantly Josh and the program taught me how to work hard, which is something that is applicable throughout everything I do in my life.”

Josh’s comment: “Krystle has been a pleasure to train, she’s highly motivated to succeed and really enjoyed training with Acceleration. Haley’s comment: “Since starting Acceleration in Feb, Miela has greatly improved her body control, speed and agility techniques.  She is an absolute pleasure to work with and has shown her dedication to both our training sessions and her sport by attending the early morning 6am sessions throughout the winter period despite enjoying a good sleep in!  Miela had a great U/16 Nationals campaign and we wish her all the best as she heads off to Turkey for the FIBA camp. She is one of two Australian athletes to be selected to attend. The first of many more international trips to come!”

“I first was introduced to Acceleration when I attended St Joseph’s college Gregory Terrace. I feel my time spent with Acceleration at Terrace not only got me in the right frame of mind for rugby for for all aspects of my schooling through the years. I also played a number of sports including baseball and AFL and I think Acceleration targets strengthening your body for any sport desired.

I most recently needed a sprint program before heading over to America for Spring training. I had one month to try and improve my straight line speed for my testing upon arrival to spring. I went to Acceleration because I knew from previous years at school they would do a great job, and that they did. I went to the centre three mornings a week and they put me through a short and sharp 30 minute program that had me feeling great afterwards. Couldn’t of asked for more!! My 60 yard sprint in spring quickened from a 6.7 seconds to a 6.4 seconds…. I can thank Acceleration Australia!!” – Logan

Kristy’s Comments:  “Acceleration has been an excellent development program specifically designed for me and my sport of Basketball. The staff have been great to work with and have helped me improve this year, which has been crucial to my being selected into the Australian U19 team.”

Byron’s comment: “Kristy has been training with Acceleration since February through the National Performance Program with BQ and is one the best athletes to train. She has the attitude of a professional athlete already  towards to her Basketball and Strength and Conditioning training. I am so happy for Kristy to make the U/19 Australian Basketball team. She missed out on the squad in the February trials and noted she was lacking Strength to compete at that level. Since then she has worked hard every single session 3 sessions/week and never takes the throttle off unless she has a tapered or recovery session. She is an awesome athlete and I am very privileged to train Kristy”

Coach: Brett Robertson

Bridie’s Comment:  “Training with Brett provided me excellent support in the lead up to our qualification event. Brett’s attention to detail and ability to think outside the box challenged me and enabled me to make physical gains in the lead up to Thailand. “It was a great feeling to go into a tournament confident in my preparation and training. There had been things that I thought I would never be able to do (i.e chin ups) that we made happen in the gym over regular training. The changes made physically in the gym, transferred into confidence that I was prepared for Thailand and that was a pretty great feeling. I will be taking that into the World Championship campaign”

Byron’s Comment: “I am absolutely stoked for Macca. He has been working so hard in the past 12-18 months and he is beginning to reap the rewards.
